The MuleSoft API lifecycle explains the various stages of the API lifecycle and how to use MuleSoft Anypoint platform effectively and efficiently. The Anypoint platform gives us all the functionality and tools we need to create and manage APIs inside our businesses.
The requirement where a group or organization comes up with their business need for integration is where the API lifecycle begins. The MuleSoft development team evaluates the specifications and develops an appropriate architecture for implementation. MuleSoft recommends an API-led implementation strategy.

The many stages of the API Lifecycle are listed below (for a sequence, please refer to the figure above).
A web-based tool called API Designer is used to create REST interfaces or specifications for APIs according to requirements. It will check the interface for any syntax errors during creation and indicate them. Additionally, a tab for validating the interface where a mock interface is displayed is displayed.
